We’ve been working in the mining industry for a long time and in that time, we’ve provided analytics and optimisation services across multiple operations globally. This experience includes designing and implementing process control and advanced process control solutions, as well as using analytics to identify and action improvement opportunities across the entirety of the value chain.

The Solution
  • We teamed up with a global gold miner, with us taking the project lead and providing subject matter expertise across their value chain. Then, we optimised their program spanning multiple sites globally.
  • This program used a range of fit-for-purpose analytic techniques which we coupled with their operational team’s know-how and a fundamental understanding of the metallurgy process to identify and deliver over $50 million in benefits each year.

Management system improvement for a global mining company

We’ve provided our management system improvement services across multiple operations globally. Our clients come to us looking to improve their management system maturity across their operations to improve both safety and productivity outcomes.


Our approach is inherently collaborative. We team up with our clients to design their management systems based on industry leading-practice, identify and prioritise opportunities for improvement, implement and sustain these improvements.

The Solution
  • By targeting rigorous compliance to plans and error-proofing the planning process, one of our clients went from being behind the budget to exceeding their production targets by ~2% in six months.
  • Compliance to plans increased from below 50% to greater than 80% during the period and has been sustained well since implementation.

The MVP was deployed and used by our first client within six months as a free trial and was actively used across three sites. This client provided positive feedback and has now purchased the product for continued use.

The business maturity methodology

We engaged some of our clients that we had an existing relationship with for the project. Teaming up with them, we confirmed the key issues and gathered requirements on how these key issues could be solved. We evaluated the key needs of our clients and designed a solution that would meet the majority of those clients’ needs. This was done through client profiles, user journey mapping and technology landscape analysis.
